Indications
Ketorolac/Tramadol is indicated for the relief of moderate to severe acute pain. It is especially useful in the management of postoperative pain, as well as in acute painful conditions that require effective and rapid treatment. This medication combines the analgesic properties of ketorolac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), with those of tramadol, an opioid analgesic, allowing for a synergistic effect in pain control. It should be administered under appropriate medical supervision, considering the individual characteristics of the patient and the severity of the pain.
Composition
Each ampoule of Ketorolac/Tramadol contains 10 mg of Ketorolac and 25 mg of Tramadol, along with excipients necessary for its formulation.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to the components of the formula, in those with a history of active peptic ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding, severe renal insufficiency, as well as in patients who are receiving monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or who have been treated with them in the last two weeks.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of gastrointestinal disease, liver or kidney disorders, as well as in those with a history of substance abuse. The risk of bleeding should be assessed in patients using anticoagulants or in those with coagulation disorders.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
