Indications
Ketorolac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used for the treatment of moderate to severe pain. It is indicated for the management of postoperative pain, pain associated with dental procedures, as well as in cases of acute pain due to musculoskeletal injuries. This medication works by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis, which results in analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects. It can also be used in the treatment of pain in cancer patients.
Composition
Each ampoule of Ketorolac 30 mg/ml contains:
- Ketorolac tromethamine: 30 mg
- Excipients: q.s.
Contraindications
Ketorolac is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to NSAIDs or to any component of the formula. It should not be administered in cases of active peptic ulcer, gastrointestinal bleeding, severe renal insufficiency, or in patients who have received other NSAIDs or aspirin within 24 hours prior to treatment. It is also contraindicated in pregnant and breastfeeding women, as well as in patients with bleeding or clotting disorders.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of asthma, heart failure, high blood pressure, or liver diseases. It is important to monitor renal function in patients receiving Ketorolac for prolonged periods. The recommended dose and duration of treatment should not be exceeded, as prolonged use may increase the risk of adverse effects.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children.
