Indications

Ketorolac 10 mg is indicated for the treatment of acute moderate to severe pain, including postoperative pain. This medication is also used in the management of pain due to musculoskeletal conditions and minor surgical procedures. Its anti-inflammatory and analgesic action makes it a useful option for patients requiring rapid and effective pain relief. It is important that its use be supervised by a physician, especially in cases of chronic pain or in patients with pre-existing medical conditions.

Composition

Each Ketorolac tablet contains 10 mg of ketorolac tromethamine as the active ingredient. Excipients: lactose, starch, povidone, magnesium stearate, among others.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to ketorolac or any of its components, as well as in those with active peptic ulcer, gastrointestinal bleeding, severe renal failure, and in the third trimester of pregnancy. Its use is not recommended in patients who have received treatment with other NSAIDs in recent days.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of asthma, cardiovascular disease, hypertension, kidney or liver disease. It is important to monitor renal function and signs of bleeding during treatment. Prolonged use of ketorolac is not recommended, and the medication should be used at the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible time.

Storage

Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 °C, in a dry place and away from direct light. Keep out of reach of children.
