Indications

Ketoconazole is indicated for the treatment of fungal skin infections, such as seborrheic dermatitis, tinea, and cutaneous candidiasis. It is effective in the treatment of superficial fungal infections and is used in the management of dermatological conditions that require an antifungal approach. It can also be used in the treatment of Malassezia infections, which are responsible for some forms of dermatitis and seborrhea.

Composition

Each 100 g of cream contains: Ketoconazole 2 g. Excipients: cetyl alcohol, glyceryl stearate, propylene glycol, methylparaben, propylparaben, purified water.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to ketoconazole or any of the excipients in the formulation. It should not be used on skin lesions that show signs of bacterial infection, as it may worsen the condition.

Precautions

Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. If irritation or an allergic reaction occurs, discontinue use of the product and consult a doctor. Its use is not recommended in children under 12 years of age without medical supervision. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a doctor before use.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
