Indications

Kenzoflex Duosol is used in the treatment of external eye infections caused by bacteria susceptible to ciprofloxacin, as well as in the management of ocular inflammations where the use of a corticosteroid, such as dexamethasone, is required. This medication is indicated for conditions such as bacterial conjunctivitis, keratitis, and other inflammatory processes of the eye. Its combined action helps reduce inflammation and control infection, providing symptomatic relief and promoting ocular recovery.

Composition

Each milliliter of Kenzoflex Duosol contains: Ciprofloxacin 0.3% and Dexamethasone 0.1%. Excipients: sodium chloride, hydrochloric acid, purified water.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to ciprofloxacin, dexamethasone, or any of the components of the formula. It should not be used in viral, fungal, or tuberculous eye infections. Likewise, it is contraindicated in cases of glaucoma and in situations where the preservation of corneal integrity is required.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of previous eye diseases, as well as in those who are being treated with medications that may cause adverse reactions in the eye. Prolonged use of this product without medical supervision is not recommended, given the risk of side effects associated with corticosteroid use. Contact of the applicator with ocular surfaces should be avoided to prevent contamination.

Storage

Store at room temperature between 15°C and 30°C, protected from light and humidity. Keep out of reach of children.
