Indications
Ifentil is indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate pain, including headache, muscle pain, dental pain, and dysmenorrhea. It is also used for fever reduction in febrile conditions. Additionally, it can be useful in the management of inflammation in rheumatic diseases and other inflammatory disorders. Its anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic action is due to its ability to inhibit the synthesis of prostaglandins, chemical mediators involved in the inflammatory response and pain perception.
Composition
Each tablet contains: Ibuprofen 200 mg as active ingredient. Excipients: corn starch, colloidal silica, magnesium stearate, among others.
Contraindications
Ifentil is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to ibuprofen or any of the excipients in the formulation. It should not be administered to patients with a history of active peptic ulcer, gastrointestinal bleeding, or severe renal failure. Its use is also contraindicated in patients with coagulation disorders or who are on anticoagulant therapy.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with asthma, hypertension, heart disease, renal or hepatic insufficiency. It is important to monitor renal and hepatic function during prolonged treatment. Avoid concomitant use with other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs to reduce the risk of gastrointestinal and renal adverse effects. Use is not recommended in the third trimester of pregnancy due to the potential risk to the fetus.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
