Indications

Idaxfen (Ifosfamide) is indicated for the treatment of various types of cancer. It is used as part of chemotherapy regimens for the treatment of malignant neoplasms, including but not limited to, sarcomas, lymphomas, and testicular cancer. Its cytotoxic action is based on its ability to interfere with DNA synthesis, leading to the death of cancer cells. It is important that the use of Idaxfen be under strict medical supervision, considering the specificity of the type of cancer and the patient's general condition.

Composition

Each Idaxfen ampoule contains 1 g of ifosfamide as the active ingredient. Excipients and additional components may vary; it is recommended to consult the product packaging for more details.

Contraindications

Idaxfen is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to ifosfamide or any of the formulation components. It should not be administered to patients with severe renal insufficiency, uncontrolled active infections, and pregnant or lactating women, unless the benefits outweigh the potential risks.

Precautions

Special care should be taken in patients with a history of hematological diseases, immune system disorders, as well as those receiving other chemotherapeutic treatments. Regular monitoring of hematological and renal parameters during Idaxfen treatment is essential. It is recommended to inform the doctor about any concomitant medications the patient is using.

Storage

Idaxfen should be stored at room temperature, in a cool, dry place, protected from direct light. Keep out of reach of children and dispose of any unused product in accordance with local regulations.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
