Indications

Hyoscine 10 mg is a medication indicated for the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders and spasms of the digestive tract. It is used in cases of abdominal colic, irritable bowel syndrome, and as an adjunctive treatment in diagnostic procedures that require relaxation of gastrointestinal smooth muscle. It is also effective in the management of spasms in the genitourinary system and in the relief of nausea and vomiting symptoms.

Composition

Each tablet contains: Hyoscine 10 mg as active ingredient. Excipients: lactose, starch, magnesium stearate, and other inactive components that allow for the formulation of the medication.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to hyoscine or any component of the formulation. Its use is not recommended in patients with angle-closure glaucoma, myasthenia gravis, or severe gastrointestinal obstruction.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with heart disease, hypertension, or those with a history of intestinal obstruction. It is recommended to assess whether the medication is suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women, and in patients over 65 years of age. Driving vehicles or operating heavy machinery during treatment is advised against due to possible sedative effects.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.

Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
