Indications
Groobe is indicated for the treatment and prevention of nausea and vomiting associated with motion sickness. Additionally, it is used in the treatment of postoperative nausea and vomiting. Its effect is based on the antagonism of histamine H1 receptors in the central nervous system, which helps control symptoms of dizziness and nausea, providing relief to patients requiring mobility during travel or medical procedures.
Composition
Each Groobe capsule contains 50 mg of dimenhydrinate as the active ingredient. It also contains excipients necessary for the product's formulation.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to dimenhydrinate or any of the formulated excipients. Its use is not recommended in patients with closed-angle glaucoma, bladder neck obstruction, or those suffering from severe respiratory diseases.
Precautions
Caution is recommended when using Groobe in patients with heart disease, hypertension, asthma, or thyroid problems. It should not be administered to children under 2 years of age without medical supervision. In case of pregnancy or lactation, it is suggested to consult a doctor before starting treatment. Likewise, it should be noted that the medication can cause drowsiness, so driving vehicles or operating heavy machinery should be avoided after ingestion.
Storage
Groobe should be stored in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children and protect from excessive humidity.
