Indications

Gramaxin is indicated for the treatment of infections caused by organisms sensitive to amoxicillin and clavulanic acid. These infections include, but are not limited to:

  • Respiratory tract infections, such as pneumonia and bronchitis.
  • Ear infections, such as acute otitis media.
  • Urinary tract infections, such as cystitis and pyelonephritis.
  • Skin and soft tissue infections.
  • Dental infections.

It is suitable for the treatment of mixed infections where beta-lactamase-producing bacteria are present, which can inactivate other antibiotics.

Composition

Each Gramaxin tablet contains:

  • Amoxicillin: 500 mg
  • Clavulanic Acid: 125 mg

Contraindications

Gramaxin is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to amoxicillin, clavulanic acid, or other antibiotics of the penicillin family. It is also contraindicated in those with a history of jaundice or hepatic dysfunction related to the use of amoxicillin/clavulanic acid.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when administering Gramaxin to patients with a history of allergic diseases, asthma, or viral infections. Renal and hepatic function should be monitored during treatment, especially in patients with pre-existing conditions. Likewise, its use in pregnant or breastfeeding women should only be considered if strictly necessary.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the package.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
  4. Orders received after 2:00 PM will be shipped the next day.
