Indications
Glioten is indicated for the treatment of essential hypertension in adults. This medication acts as an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor, which helps to lower blood pressure and improve cardiac function in patients with congestive heart failure. In addition, it can be used to prevent cardiovascular events in high-risk patients, as well as for renal protection in diabetic patients.
Composition
Each Glioten tablet contains 5 mg of enalapril as an active ingredient. Excipients include: starch, talc, and other inert compounds that ensure the stability and efficacy of the medication.
Contraindications
It is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to enalapril or other ACE inhibitors, as well as in those with hereditary or idiopathic angioedema. Its use is also prohibited in patients with bilateral renal artery stenosis or in those with severe renal failure.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Glioten to patients with a history of kidney disease, heart failure, or those requiring dialysis. Likewise, it is important to monitor blood pressure and kidney function during treatment, especially at the beginning of therapy or when increasing the dose. Its use during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended without medical supervision.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
