Indications

Genoprazol is indicated for the treatment of various conditions related to excessive acid production in the stomach. Its indications include:

  • Treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
  • Gastric and duodenal ulcers.
  • Prevention of ulcers induced by non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
  • Treatment of Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
  • Eradication of Helicobacter pylori in combination with antibiotics.

Composition

Each Genoprazol capsule contains 20 mg of omeprazole as the active ingredient, as well as suitable excipients for product formulation.

Contraindications

Genoprazol is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to omeprazole or any of the excipients in the formulation. Caution should also be exercised in individuals with a history of severe liver disease.

Precautions

It is important to consider the following precautions when using Genoprazol:

  • Monitor patients with liver or kidney failure.
  • Assess for symptoms that may indicate a malignant gastric disease before starting treatment.
  • Use in combination with other medications that affect stomach acid production.

Storage

Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C, in its original packaging and in a dry place. Keep out of reach of children.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
