Indications

Gelubrin 400 mg is indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe pain, as well as for the reduction of inflammation. It is used for conditions such as headaches, muscle pain, dental pain, dysmenorrhea (menstrual pain), and fever. Gelubrin administration may also be considered in the management of inflammatory conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. Its anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect is due to the inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis, which are chemical mediators involved in inflammation and pain.

Composition

Each Gelubrin capsule contains 400 mg of ibuprofen as the active ingredient, along with excipients necessary for the formulation and stability of the product.

Contraindications

Gelubrin is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to ibuprofen or any of the product's excipients. It should not be administered to patients with active gastric or duodenal ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, severe kidney failure, severe liver failure, or in cases of asthma induced by acetylsalicylic acid or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).

Precautions

Caution is advised in patients with a history of cardiovascular disease, hypertension, kidney or liver disease, as well as in those taking anticoagulants. It is important not to exceed the recommended dose and to consider the use of Gelubrin for prolonged periods due to the risk of adverse effects associated with NSAID use.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
