Indications

Gaelorax (Quetiapine) is indicated for the treatment of psychiatric disorders, including schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. In patients with schizophrenia, its efficacy has been demonstrated in reducing positive and negative symptoms, as well as in preventing relapses. In the case of bipolar disorder, it is used in both manic and depressive episodes. Quetiapine can also be used as an adjunct treatment in episodes of major depression, in combination with antidepressants, facilitating the improvement of the patient's mood.

Composition

Each Gaelorax tablet contains 100 mg of quetiapine, as well as excipients necessary for the formulation of the medication.

Contraindications

Gaelorax is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to quetiapine or any of the components of the formula. Its use should also be avoided in patients with a history of manic episodes related to antidepressant use or in those with severe cardiovascular diseases.

Precautions

Caution is recommended in patients with a history of seizures, liver diseases, cardiovascular problems, or a history of diabetes mellitus. It is important to monitor patients for possible adverse effects, such as excessive sedation, changes in glucose levels, and alterations in the lipid profile. Continuous follow-up of patients during treatment is suggested.

Storage

Gaelorax should be stored in a cool, dry place, protected from direct light. Keep out of reach of children and do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.

  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
