Indications

Furosemide is indicated in the treatment of various clinical conditions that require excessive fluid elimination from the body. It is frequently used in the management of arterial hypertension, edema associated with congestive heart failure, hepatic cirrhosis, and kidney diseases. It is also used in situations of overhydration and electrolyte disorders, promoting the excretion of sodium and water through the urine. Its use must be supervised by a physician, who will determine the dose and duration of treatment according to the patient's individual needs.

Composition

Each ampoule of Furosemide contains: Furosemide 20 mg and excipients necessary for its correct formulation.

Contraindications

Furosemide is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to furosemide or other sulfonamides. It should not be used in cases of anuria, severe dehydration, or during pregnancy and lactation, unless the benefits outweigh the potential risks. Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of gout, diabetes mellitus, or kidney diseases.

Precautions

It is recommended to monitor renal function and serum electrolytes during Furosemide treatment, especially in elderly patients or those with concomitant diseases. Care should be taken in patients with a history of hypotension or who are receiving other antihypertensive medications. Prolonged use can lead to electrolyte imbalances, so it is essential to follow the doctor's instructions.

  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
