Indications
Fosfanema solution is indicated for the correction of electrolyte imbalances, especially in patients with hyponatremia or hypocalcemia. This medication is used in clinical situations that require an increase in sodium and citrate levels in the body, such as: dehydration, gastrointestinal diseases that cause electrolyte loss, and in the management of certain types of metabolic acidosis. Its use may also be necessary in patients with kidney conditions that affect electrolyte regulation.
Composition
Each 100 ml of solution contains: Sodium phosphate (X mg), Sodium citrate (Y mg) and excipients q.s. 100 ml.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. It should not be administered in cases of hypernatremia, hyperphosphatemia, or in patients with severe renal failure, as it may worsen their condition. Likewise, its use is not recommended in individuals with severe dehydration without adequate rehydration.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with heart disease, hypertension, or kidney disease, as well as in those undergoing treatment with diuretics. It is essential to monitor electrolyte levels and kidney function during treatment. Regular medical follow-up is recommended to evaluate the treatment response.

Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
