Indications

Fluconazole is indicated for the treatment of fungal infections caused by susceptible fungi, including:

  • Acute and recurrent vaginal candidiasis.
  • Oropharyngeal and esophageal candidiasis.
  • Cryptococcal meningitis in immunocompromised patients.
  • Dermatophyte fungal infections.
  • Prophylaxis of fungal infections in neutropenic patients.

The effectiveness of fluconazole has been demonstrated in multiple clinical studies, making it a treatment of choice for various systemic and superficial mycoses.

Composition

Each capsule contains 150 mg of fluconazole as the active ingredient, as well as excipients necessary for the product's formulation.

Contraindications

Fluconazole is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to fluconazole or any other component of the formula. It should also be avoided in patients receiving medications that may interact with fluconazole, such as certain antiretrovirals and anticoagulants.

Precautions

Caution is recommended in patients with renal or hepatic insufficiency. It is important to consider the possibility of drug interactions and adjust the dosage accordingly. In case of adverse reactions, the medication should be discontinued and a doctor consulted.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Protect from light and keep out of reach of children.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
