Indications
Flebonadrol is indicated for the treatment of various inflammatory and allergic conditions. It is used in the treatment of autoimmune diseases, such as systemic lupus erythematosus and rheumatoid arthritis. It is also indicated in cases of cerebral edema, as well as in the management of severe allergic reactions. This medication can be administered in situations of acute or chronic adrenal insufficiency, being essential in the management of adrenal crises. Furthermore, it is used in the treatment of certain dermatological and ophthalmic diseases that require effective inflammation control.
Composition
Each ampoule of Flebonadrol contains 500 mg of hydrocortisone in 4 ml of injectable solution.
Contraindications
Flebonadrol is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to hydrocortisone or to any component of the formulation. It should not be administered in the presence of uncontrolled systemic infections, as well as in patients with active peptic ulcers or gastrointestinal bleeding. Likewise, it is contraindicated in patients with viral diseases, such as chickenpox or ocular herpes simplex, due to the risk of complications.
Precautions
Special care should be taken in patients with diabetes mellitus, arterial hypertension, and those with latent infections, as the use of corticosteroids can exacerbate these conditions. It is recommended to monitor blood pressure and blood glucose levels during treatment. Likewise, it is important to avoid abrupt discontinuation of treatment to prevent secondary adrenal insufficiency.

Store in a cool, dry place, at temperatures not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
