Indications
Fhreshmin Cream 2% is a medication indicated for the treatment of dermal infections caused by fungi sensitive to miconazole. It is used in the treatment of various cutaneous mycoses, including ringworm, cutaneous candidiasis, and seborrheic dermatitis. Additionally, it is effective in managing fungal infections in moist areas of the body, such as skin folds. Its antifungal action is based on the inhibition of ergosterol synthesis, an essential component of the fungal cell membrane, leading to cell death and resolution of the infection.
Composition
Each 100 grams of cream contains 2 grams of miconazole. Excipients: purified water, cetyl alcohol, glyceryl stearate, propylene glycol, among others.
Contraindications
Fhreshmin Cream is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to miconazole or any of the excipients in the formulation. Its use is not recommended on extensive areas of damaged skin or in severe burns.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when using this medication in patients with a history of allergic reactions to antifungals. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. In case of severe irritation or allergic reaction, treatment should be discontinued and a doctor consulted. Its use is not recommended in pregnant or breastfeeding women unless strictly necessary and under medical supervision.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the packaging.
