Indications

Fexofenadine 120 mg is indicated for the treatment of symptoms associated with seasonal allergic rhinitis, such as sneezing, rhinorrhea, nasal and ocular itching, as well as nasal congestion. It is also used in the management of chronic idiopathic urticaria, relieving itching and the appearance of hives on the skin. It has been shown to reduce the severity of these symptoms, improving the quality of life of patients suffering from seasonal allergies and urticaria.

Composition

Each tablet contains 120 mg of fexofenadine as the active ingredient, as well as excipients that allow for the formulation and stability of the medication.

Contraindications

Fexofenadine is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to fexofenadine or to any of the excipients in the formulation. Its use is not recommended in patients with severe renal impairment, or in pregnant or breastfeeding women, unless the benefits outweigh the risks, and always under the supervision of a physician.

Precautions

Caution is recommended in patients with a history of cardiovascular disease, as well as in those taking other medications that may cause sedation. Alcohol should not be consumed during treatment, as it may increase the risk of adverse effects. It is important to avoid combining with other antihistamines, unless directed by a physician.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the package.
