Indications
Fenagel is indicated for the treatment of inflammatory and painful processes, such as: osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, tendinitis, bursitis, sprains, and sports injuries. It is also used to relieve acute and chronic pain, as well as in postoperative conditions requiring pain management. Its topical application allows for a localized effect in the affected area, minimizing the systemic effects of the medication.
Composition
Each 100 g of gel contains: Diclofenac sodium 1.160 g, excipients q.s. 100 g.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to diclofenac or any other component of the formula. It should not be used in cases of active gastric or duodenal ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, and in patients with severe renal or hepatic insufficiency. Furthermore, its use should be avoided in the third trimester of pregnancy.
Precautions
Caution is advised in patients with asthma, heart disease, hypertension, or a history of allergic reactions to other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Do not apply to open wounds, mucous membranes, or irritated skin. Keep out of reach of children and do not use for prolonged periods without medical supervision.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Protect from direct light and keep the container tightly closed.
