Indications
Fc Malt is indicated for the treatment of iron deficiency anemia in patients requiring parenteral iron administration. It is used in cases of iron deficiency where oral administration is not appropriate, either due to absorption problems, gastrointestinal intolerance, or the need for faster treatment. Additionally, it can be used in patients with conditions such as chronic bleeding, kidney failure, or those undergoing treatments that may cause a decrease in iron levels, such as chemotherapy. It is important that the use of this medication be supervised by a healthcare professional, who will determine the dose and duration of treatment according to the individual needs of the patient.
Composition
Each ampoule of Fc Malt contains 50 mg of carboxymaltose, as well as excipients necessary for its formulation.
Contraindications
Fc Malt is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to the components of the formula, as well as in those with non-iron deficiency anemias, severe liver diseases, and in situations of iron overload. Its use is not recommended in patients with a history of severe allergic reactions to other iron-containing products.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when using Fc Malt in patients with a history of cardiovascular disease, as well as in those receiving medications that may interact with iron. Monitoring iron levels and clinical response during treatment is recommended. In addition, renal function should be evaluated before administering the medication.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C. Keep out of reach of children.
