Indications

Fasiclor (Cefaclor) is indicated in the treatment of bacterial infections caused by microorganisms sensitive to cefaclor. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Upper respiratory tract infections, such as sinusitis and otitis media.
  • Lower respiratory tract infections, such as bronchitis and pneumonia.
  • Urinary tract infections.
  • Skin and soft tissue infections.

It is important to make an accurate diagnosis and confirm the pathogen's sensitivity to cefaclor before initiating treatment.

Composition

Each capsule contains 500 mg of cefaclor. Excipients: starch, talc, gelatin, among others.

Contraindications

Fasiclor is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to cefaclor, other cephalosporin antibiotics, or any of the components of the formula.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of gastrointestinal diseases, especially colitis. The use of cefaclor in patients with renal insufficiency should also be considered; dose adjustment may be necessary. Inform your doctor about any medications you are taking, as they may interact with other treatments.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
