Indications
Farmiver Pediatric Suspension is indicated for the treatment of intestinal infections caused by parasites, including but not limited to, amebiasis, giardiasis, and helminthiasis. This medication is especially useful in the management of helminth infections such as ascariasis, enterobiasis, and hookworm in children. Its combination of quinfamide and albendazole provides a broad spectrum of action against various types of intestinal parasites, making it an effective option for the treatment of these conditions in the pediatric population.
Composition
Each 5 ml of suspension contains: 100 mg of Quinfamide and 200 mg of Albendazole.
Contraindications
Farmiver Pediatric Suspension is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in children under two years of age without medical supervision. Furthermore, it should be avoided in patients with a history of severe liver diseases.
Precautions
It is recommended to use with caution in patients with liver or kidney diseases. Medical follow-up is important if symptoms persist after treatment. Concomitant use with other antiparasitic medications is not recommended without proper medical supervision. It is essential to maintain hydration and adequate nutritional status during treatment.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, protected from direct light. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
