Indications
Farmiver is indicated for the treatment of parasitic infections caused by helminths and protozoa. It is effective in the treatment of intestinal infections caused by Ascaris lumbricoides, Enterobius vermicularis, Trichuris trichiura, and other parasites. Additionally, it is used for the treatment of giardiasis and amoebiasis, providing relief from the gastrointestinal symptoms associated with these infections. It is important to follow medical instructions to ensure correct dosage and treatment duration, as well as to consider the possible need for complementary treatments in cases of mixed infections.
Composition
Each Farmiver tablet contains 150 mg of Quinfamide and 200 mg of Albendazole as active ingredients. Additionally, it includes excipients that facilitate the formulation and stability of the product.
Contraindications
Farmiver is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. Caution should also be exercised in patients with a history of severe liver or kidney diseases, as well as in those who are pregnant or breastfeeding, unless deemed necessary by a physician.
Precautions
Medical monitoring is recommended during treatment, especially in cases of severe or persistent infections. It is essential to inform the physician about other medications the patient is taking to avoid interactions. Liver and kidney function tests are suggested before and during treatment if unusual symptoms occur.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children and do not use after the expiry date indicated on the package.
