Indications
F-Exetina is indicated for the treatment of major depressive episodes, obsessive-compulsive disorder, bulimia nervosa, and panic disorders. Fluoxetine acts as a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI), which helps to increase serotonin levels in the brain, thereby improving mood and reducing anxiety. Its use must be supervised by a healthcare professional, who will determine the appropriate dose and duration of treatment according to the patient's needs.
Composition
Each F-Exetina capsule contains 20 mg of fluoxetine as the active ingredient. Additionally, it contains excipients such as gelatin, titanium dioxide, and other components that facilitate the capsule's formulation.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients who are hypersensitive to fluoxetine or any of the formula's components. Its use is not recommended in patients with a history of serotonin syndrome or those receiving treatment with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) due to the risk of serious interactions. Likewise, it should be used with caution in patients with a history of seizure disorders.
Precautions
It is recommended to evaluate liver and kidney function in patients who will receive F-Exetina treatment. Medication administration should be monitored in patients with bipolar disorders, as it can induce manic episodes. It is essential to avoid alcohol consumption during treatment, as it can increase side effects and medication toxicity.

Store F-Exetina in its original container, at room temperature (15-30 °C), protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
