Indications

F-Exetina is indicated in the treatment of major depressive disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, bulimia nervosa, and panic disorders. Fluoxetine acts as a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI), which helps improve mood and emotional regulation in patients with these conditions. Its use must be supervised by a healthcare professional, who will determine the appropriate dosage according to the patient's needs.

Composition

Each capsule contains 20 mg of fluoxetine, as well as necessary excipients for its formulation. It is recommended to check the packaging for detailed information on additional components.

Contraindications

F-Exetina is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to fluoxetine or any of the components of the formula. It is also contraindicated in patients who are receiving treatment with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) and for at least 14 days after discontinuation of such treatment.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when administering F-Exetina to patients with a history of convulsive disorders, diabetes mellitus, and those who may be at risk of suicide. It is important to consider monitoring symptoms in patients initiating treatment, as well as assessing the possibility of adverse effects. Continuous medical supervision is recommended during treatment.
