Indications
Etoricoxib is indicated for the treatment of acute pain, as well as for the management of symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. This medication can be used to relieve postoperative pain and pain associated with menstrual cramps. Its efficacy is based on its ability to selectively inhibit the cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) enzyme, which reduces the synthesis of prostaglandins, responsible for inflammation and pain.
Composition
Each tablet contains 90 mg of etoricoxib as active ingredient. Excipients: lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate.
Contraindications
Etoricoxib is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to etoricoxib or any of the product's excipients. Its use is not recommended in people with a history of active peptic ulcer, gastrointestinal bleeding, or inflammatory bowel disease. Its use is also contraindicated in patients with severe heart failure, severe liver disease, and in those who are being treated with other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of cardiovascular disease, arterial hypertension, or renal failure. It is advisable to monitor renal and cardiovascular function during treatment. Avoid prolonged use and high doses, as it may increase the risk of adverse effects.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children.
