Indications

Etoricoxib is indicated for the treatment of pain and inflammation associated with various conditions, including:

  • Rheumatoid arthritis
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Ankylosing spondylitis
  • Acute musculoskeletal pain
  • Postoperative pain

The medication works by selectively inhibiting the cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) enzyme, which reduces the production of prostaglandins, responsible for inflammation and pain. This allows for significant symptom relief without the gastrointestinal effects associated with other NSAIDs.

Composition

Each tablet contains:

  • Etoricoxib: 120 mg
  • Excipients: q.s.

Contraindications

Etoricoxib is contraindicated in patients who present with:

  • Hypersensitivity to etoricoxib or any of its components.
  • History of severe allergic reactions to other NSAIDs.
  • Severe heart failure.
  • Severe kidney disease.
  • Pregnancy and lactation, unless specifically indicated by a physician.

Precautions

Special care should be taken in patients with a history of cardiovascular disease, hypertension, or gastrointestinal diseases. It is important to monitor renal and hepatic function during treatment, as well as signs of adverse reactions. This medication should not be used in combination with other NSAIDs.

Store in its original container, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C and protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.

Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
