Indications

Conjugated Estrogens are indicated for the treatment of symptoms related to menopause, such as hot flashes, night sweats, and vaginal atrophy. They are also used in hormone replacement therapy for women who have undergone a hysterectomy, as well as in the treatment of conditions such as osteoporosis in postmenopausal women. This medication may be part of a treatment regimen that includes other medications or therapies, depending on the patient's medical evaluation.

Composition

Each Conjugated Estrogens tablet contains 0.625 mg of estrogens in the form of estrone sulfate and equilin sulfate.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with a history of breast cancer, endometrial cancer, active thromboembolic disease or a history thereof, as well as in those with severe liver diseases. It is also contraindicated in patients with undiagnosed vaginal bleeding.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with hypertension, diabetes, epilepsy, asthma, or heart disease. It is important for the patient to inform their doctor about any medication they are taking, as well as any pre-existing medical conditions. Regular medical check-ups are recommended during treatment.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, protected from direct light. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
