Indications
Esomeprazole is indicated for the treatment of various conditions related to excessive stomach acid production. It is used in the management of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), where it helps relieve symptoms of heartburn and regurgitation. It is also prescribed for the eradication of Helicobacter pylori in combination with antibiotics in patients with peptic ulcers. Additionally, it is effective in the treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers, as well as for the prevention of ulcers in patients requiring treatment with nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
Composition
Each tablet contains 40 mg of esomeprazole as the active ingredient, as well as excipients that allow for the proper formulation of the product.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to esomeprazole or any of its excipients. Its use is not recommended in patients with severe hepatic insufficiency, as well as in those with conditions that contraindicate treatment with proton pump inhibitors.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when using esomeprazole in patients with a history of liver diseases, as well as in those who are being treated with other medications that may interact with esomeprazole. Medical follow-up is recommended for patients who use this drug long-term, due to the risk of long-term adverse effects.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature between 15°C and 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
