Indications
Erispan is indicated for the treatment of various inflammatory and allergic conditions. Its use is relevant in the management of autoimmune diseases, as well as in the control of respiratory diseases such as bronchial asthma. It is also used in the treatment of severe allergic reactions and in the management of dermatological conditions that require anti-inflammatory treatment. This medication acts as a corticosteroid, reducing inflammation and the body's immune response, providing symptomatic relief in situations requiring rapid control of inflammation.
Composition
Each Erispan ampule contains 4 mg of betamethasone in a 1 ml solution volume.
Contraindications
Erispan is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to betamethasone or any of the excipients in the formulation. It is also contraindicated in untreated systemic infections and in patients with viral diseases, such as chickenpox or herpes zoster, as well as in the presence of active peptic ulcers.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when using Erispan in patients with hypertension, diabetes, renal or hepatic insufficiency, and in those with a history of psychiatric illnesses. It is essential to monitor patients during treatment to detect any adverse effects. Additionally, the possibility of side effects related to prolonged corticosteroid use, such as hypothalamic-pituitary axis suppression, should be considered.

Store at room temperature, between 15°C and 30°C, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
