Indications

Ercatriv M is indicated for the treatment of various conditions associated with vitamin D deficiency, including:

  • Osteoporosis in high-risk patients.
  • Rickets and osteomalacia.
  • Hypoparathyroidism.
  • Conditions requiring proper management of calcium and phosphorus levels in the body.

Its use is recommended in patients with chronic kidney disease and those with intestinal malabsorption, as calcitriol helps improve calcium and phosphorus absorption, contributing to proper bone mineralization.

Composition

Each Ercatriv M capsule contains 25 mcg of calcitriol as the active ingredient, in addition to excipients that ensure its stability and efficacy.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to calcitriol or any of the excipients. It should not be administered in cases of hypercalcemia, hypercalciuria, or diseases that include vitamin D hypersensitivity.

Precautions

Caution is advised in patients with heart disease, renal insufficiency, or those being treated with thiazide diuretics, due to the risk of hypocalcemia or hypercalcemia. Regular monitoring of serum calcium levels is suggested during treatment.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children.

  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
