Indications
Eccer (pantoprazole) is indicated for the treatment of various conditions related to excessive gastric acid production. It is used in the management of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), which is characterized by symptoms such as heartburn and acid regurgitation. In addition, Eccer is effective in the treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers, as well as in the eradication of Helicobacter pylori in combination with antibiotics. This medication is also used for the prevention of ulcers in patients receiving treatment with nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
Composition
Each Eccer tablet contains 40 mg of pantoprazole, as well as excipients that facilitate its absorption and stability.
Contraindications
Eccer is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to pantoprazole or to any of the excipients of the medication. Caution should also be exercised in patients with a history of severe liver diseases.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with hepatic or renal insufficiency, as well as in those who are taking other medications that may interact with pantoprazole. It is important to monitor patients receiving long-term treatment due to the risk of adverse effects associated with prolonged acid suppression. It is advisable to make an adequate diagnosis before starting treatment, particularly in patients over 50 years of age who present new or changed symptoms.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
