Indications

Duloxetine is indicated for the treatment of major depression in adults, as well as for the management of generalized anxiety disorder. It is also used in the treatment of diabetic neuropathic pain and chronic pain associated with osteoarthritis. This medication acts as a selective serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor, which helps improve mood and relieve anxiety.

Composition

Each tablet contains 30 mg of Duloxetine as the active ingredient. Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, sodium starch glycolate, magnesium stearate, among others.

Contraindications

It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Duloxetine or any of the excipients. It should not be administered to patients with severe liver disease or severe renal failure. Furthermore, its use is contraindicated in patients receiving treatment with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs).

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of seizures, manic-depressive disorders, or those at risk of suicide. It is important to monitor blood pressure, as it may increase in some patients. Use during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended without adequate medical supervision.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
