Indications
Doxon is indicated for the treatment of acute pain of mild to moderate intensity, such as muscle pain, dental pain, dysmenorrhea (menstrual pain), and postoperative pain. It can also be used in inflammatory conditions where pain and inflammation relief are required, as well as in joint diseases like arthritis. Its anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect is due to the inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis, which helps to reduce inflammation and pain in the body.
Composition
Each Doxon tablet contains 25 mg of dexketoprofen as the active ingredient. Additionally, it contains excipients such as magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, among others.
Contraindications
Doxon is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to dexketoprofen, acetylsalicylic acid, or other NSAIDs. It should not be administered to patients with a history of active peptic ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, severe renal insufficiency, severe hepatic insufficiency, and during the third trimester of pregnancy. Its use should also be avoided in patients with uncontrolled asthma or allergic rhinitis.
Precautions
It is recommended to use Doxon with caution in patients with a history of cardiovascular disease, hypertension, moderate renal or hepatic insufficiency. Likewise, special care should be taken when co-administering with other NSAIDs, anticoagulants, or medications that may affect renal function. The recommended dose should not be exceeded, and the duration of treatment should not extend beyond what is strictly necessary.

Store in a cool, dry place, at temperatures not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children.
