Indications

Doxcurom (Vecuronium Bromide) is indicated as a neuromuscular blocking agent in surgical procedures and during endotracheal intubation. Its use allows for the muscle relaxation necessary during general anesthesia, thus facilitating surgical intervention. This medication is useful in situations where precise control of muscle function is required, such as in highly complex surgeries or in patients needing mechanical ventilation. It can also be used in the management of ventilation in critically ill patients where muscle relaxation is essential for proper treatment.

Composition

Each Doxcurom ampoule contains 4 mg of Vecuronium Bromide. Additionally, it contains excipients that facilitate the stability and administration of the medication.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Vecuronium Bromide or any of the formula's components. Caution should also be exercised in patients with severe neuromuscular diseases, such as myasthenia gravis, and in those with severe hepatic or renal function alterations.

Precautions

Careful monitoring of respiratory and cardiovascular function is recommended during the use of Doxcurom.
