Indications

Dolprofen 400 mg is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of various painful conditions, such as:

  • Headache (cephalalgia).
  • Dental pain.
  • Menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea).
  • Muscle and joint pain.
  • Fever of various origins.

In addition, it is used in the management of acute and chronic inflammatory processes, as well as in the treatment of musculoskeletal diseases that involve pain and inflammation.

Composition

Each tablet contains:

  • Ibuprofen: 400 mg.
  • Excipients: sufficient quantity for 1 tablet.

Contraindications

Dolprofen is contraindicated in the following cases:

  • Hypersensitivity to ibuprofen or any component of the formula.
  • History of severe allergic reactions (e.g., asthma, urticaria) induced by NSAIDs.
  • Active peptic ulcers or history of gastrointestinal bleeding.
  • Severe renal or hepatic insufficiency.

Precautions

Caution is recommended in the following cases:

  • Patients with cardiovascular disease or hypertension.
  • Patients with a history of peptic ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding.
  • Pregnant or breastfeeding women.
  • Patients over 65 years of age.
