Indications

Dofil 150 mg is indicated for the treatment of various fungal infections. It is particularly effective in the prophylaxis and treatment of candidiasis, including esophageal candidiasis, as well as in the treatment of fungal infections, such as Cryptococcosis. This medication is used in immunocompromised patients, such as those with HIV/AIDS, as well as in patients who have received organ transplants. It may also be indicated for the treatment of systemic mycoses and dermatophytosis, depending on medical evaluation.

Composition

Each Dofil capsule contains: Fluconazole 150 mg. Excipients: lactose, starch, magnesium stearate, among others.

Contraindications

Dofil is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to fluconazole or any other component of the formulation. Its use in combination with certain medications that prolong the QT interval should be carefully evaluated.

Precautions

Caution is recommended in patients with liver or kidney diseases. It is important to monitor liver function during fluconazole treatment. In addition, the use of Dofil in pregnant and lactating women, as well as in pediatric patients, should always be considered under medical supervision.

Store at room temperature, in a dry place and away from direct light. Keep out of reach of children.
