Indications

Docsi, whose active ingredient is chlorphenamine, is indicated for the treatment of symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergies, such as allergic rhinitis, allergic conjunctivitis, and urticaria. Additionally, it is used for the relief of symptoms associated with the common cold, such as sneezing, rhinorrhea, and itching in the nose and throat. Its antihistaminic action helps to reduce the body's allergic response by interfering with the action of histamine, a mediator involved in allergic processes.

Composition

Each Docsi tablet contains 4 mg of chlorphenamine as an active ingredient, as well as excipients that allow for the proper formulation of the medicine.

Contraindications

This medicine is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to chlorphenamine or any of the formulated excipients. Its use is not recommended in patients with angle-closure glaucoma, urinary retention, obstructive urinary tract diseases, and in patients taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs).

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when using Docsi in patients with cardiovascular diseases, hypertension, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), or in those who have difficulty urinating.
