Indications

Deviplat (Clopidogrel) is indicated for the prevention of cardiovascular events in patients with coronary artery disease, including myocardial infarction, stroke, or peripheral artery disease. Its use is indicated in patients who have suffered a vascular event or who present risk factors such as diabetes mellitus, high blood pressure, and dyslipidemia. This medication works by inhibiting platelet aggregation, thereby reducing the risk of thrombosis in patients highly susceptible to cardiovascular events.

Composition

Each Deviplat tablet contains 75 mg of Clopidogrel as the active ingredient. It also contains excipients that facilitate the formulation of the medication.

Contraindications

Deviplat is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to clopidogrel or any other component of the formulation. It should not be administered to patients with active pathological bleeding, such as gastrointestinal ulcers or intracranial hemorrhages. It is also contraindicated in patients with severe hepatic impairment.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of gastrointestinal or cerebral hemorrhages, as well as in those who are being treated with other anticoagulants or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. It is important to perform adequate monitoring in patients undergoing elective surgery, given the risk of bleeding. It is also recommended to assess renal function before starting treatment.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light and out of the reach of children. The storage temperature should not exceed 30°C.
