Indications

Desvenlafaxine Lp is a medication indicated for the treatment of major depressive disorders in adults. It is also used in the treatment of generalized anxiety disorder and social anxiety disorder. This medication acts on neurotransmitters in the brain, helping to improve mood and reduce anxiety. It is important to follow medical instructions for proper use, as the response to treatment may vary among patients.

Composition

Each tablet contains 100 mg of desvenlafaxine as the active ingredient, in addition to excipients that facilitate its formulation and absorption.

Contraindications

Desvenlafaxine is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to desvenlafaxine or any of the excipients in the formula. It is also contraindicated in patients receiving treatment with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) and in those with a history of seizure disorders.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of high blood pressure, bleeding disorders, and those at risk of suicide. Regular medical follow-up is recommended during treatment, especially in the first few weeks of treatment or when making dose adjustments. In addition, kidney function should be evaluated in patients with moderate to severe renal insufficiency.

Keep the product in its original packaging, at room temperature, protected from light and humidity. Keep out of reach of children.
