Indications
Deples is indicated for the treatment of cold and flu symptoms, including fever, headache, nasal congestion, and general discomfort. Amantadine acts as an antiviral, helping to reduce the duration and severity of flu symptoms. Chlorphenamine is an antihistamine that helps reduce nasal discharge and itching. Paracetamol provides symptomatic relief by reducing fever and general pain, making it a useful medicine for managing viral respiratory conditions.
Composition
Each Deples capsule contains:
- Amantadine: 50 mg
- Chlorphenamine: 3 mg
- Paracetamol: 300 mg
Contraindications
Deples should not be used in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. It is contraindicated in patients with severe liver or kidney diseases, as well as in those who are receiving treatment with other medications containing paracetamol. Its use is not recommended in children under 12 years of age without proper medical supervision.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in elderly patients, as well as those with a history of heart disease, hypertension, or seizure disorders. It is important to perform medical follow-up if the patient presents severe or persistent symptoms. The use of Deples should be evaluated in pregnant or breastfeeding women, as its safety in these conditions has not been established.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, protected from direct light and out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
