Indications

Decorex is indicated in the treatment of various medical conditions that require an anti-inflammatory and/or immunosuppressive effect. It is used in the management of allergic diseases, autoimmune diseases, and in situations of severe inflammation. Specific indications include:

  • Severe allergies.
  • Bronchial asthma.
  • Rheumatic diseases.
  • Dermatological diseases.
  • Hematological diseases.
  • Neoplastic conditions.
  • Palliative treatment in cancer cases.
It is important that its use is under strict medical supervision, considering the dose and duration of treatment according to the specific condition of the patient.

Composition

Each Decorex tablet contains: Dexamethasone 4 mg as active ingredient. Excipients: lactose, corn starch, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, and other excipients commonly used in tablet formulation.

Contraindications

Decorex should not be used in patients with hypersensitivity to dexamethasone or to any of the excipients in the formulation. It is contraindicated in uncontrolled systemic infections, active peptic ulcers, and in patients with untreated viral or fungal diseases.

Precautions

Caution is advised in patients with hypertension, diabetes mellitus, osteoporosis, and in those who are undergoing anticoagulant treatment. Regular medical follow-up during treatment with dexamethasone is essential to avoid adverse effects.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
