Indications

Culminax Ped Solution is indicated for the treatment of acute and chronic respiratory diseases that involve excessive mucus production, such as bronchitis and sinusitis. Its use is indicated to facilitate the elimination of secretions accumulated in the respiratory tract, thus improving respiratory function. It is also indicated in cases of otitis media and other conditions that require the mobilization and expulsion of mucus. Its use is recommended in pediatric patients under medical supervision, ensuring correct dosage and treatment follow-up.

Composition

Each 5 ml of Culminax Ped Solution contains 250 mg of carbocysteine as the active ingredient. Excipients: purified water, hydrochloric acid, sodium benzoate, among others.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to carbocysteine or any of the components of the formula. Likewise, its use should be avoided in patients with active gastric ulcer or a history of severe gastrointestinal problems. Its use is not recommended in children under 2 years of age without medical indication.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of gastrointestinal diseases, especially those with peptic ulcer. It is important to monitor the evolution of symptoms and adjust the dose according to the treating physician's instructions. If adverse reactions or unusual symptoms occur, treatment should be discontinued and a doctor should be consulted immediately.
