Indications
Culminax Ad Solution is indicated for the treatment of respiratory diseases involving excessive mucus production. It is used in cases of acute and chronic bronchitis, as well as in respiratory pathologies such as cystic fibrosis, where fluidification and elimination of secretions are required. This medication acts as a mucolytic, facilitating expectoration and improving breathing.
Composition
Each 5 mL of solution contains 375 mg of Carbocysteine as the active ingredient, as well as excipients necessary for the product's formulation.
Contraindications
The use of Culminax Ad is not recommended in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to Carbocysteine or to any component of the formula. This medication should not be administered in cases of active peptic ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering this medication to patients with bronchial asthma, as it may induce bronchospasm in some cases. Monitoring of respiratory function and response to treatment is recommended. Dose reduction should also be considered in patients with renal insufficiency. It is important to avoid self-medication and consult a doctor before starting treatment.
