Indications

Coriver 500 mg is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of fever and pain of various etiologies. It is commonly used to relieve headaches, muscle aches, arthritis, toothache, colds, and menstrual pain. It is also used in the management of fever in viral or bacterial infections, providing an effective antipyretic effect. Paracetamol acts at the level of the central nervous system, inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis, which results in a reduction of pain perception and a decrease in fever.

Composition

Each Coriver tablet contains 500 mg of paracetamol as the active ingredient. Excipients: starch, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate.

Contraindications

Coriver is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to paracetamol or to any of the excipients in the formula. It should not be administered in cases of severe liver disease or severe hepatic insufficiency, as well as in patients with chronic alcoholic disease.

Precautions

Caution is recommended in patients with liver or kidney diseases, as well as in those who regularly consume alcohol. Prolonged use or high doses can result in liver damage. It is important not to exceed the recommended dose and to avoid combination with other paracetamol-containing products to prevent toxicity.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
