Indications
Colchicine is indicated for the treatment and prevention of acute gout attacks in adults. It is also used in the treatment of familial Mediterranean fever and certain pericarditis conditions. Its anti-inflammatory action is due to its ability to inhibit leukocyte migration to the site of inflammation, as well as the release of inflammatory mediators. Colchicine can be used in long-term treatment regimens to prevent recurrent episodes of gout.
Composition
Each tablet contains 1 mg of colchicine. Excipients: corn starch, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, titanium dioxide, and other excipients.
Contraindications
It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to colchicine or any of the excipients. Its use is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease or severe liver disease, as well as in those with significant hematological disorders.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering colchicine to patients with renal or hepatic insufficiency, as well as those receiving concomitant treatments that may affect kidney function. It is important to avoid administering colchicine in high doses and for prolonged periods without medical supervision. Regular monitoring of renal and hematological function is recommended during treatment.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
