Indications
Cloxan is indicated for the treatment of respiratory diseases involving excessive mucus production, such as chronic bronchitis, bronchial asthma, and other pulmonary conditions where improved expectoration is needed. This medication acts as a mucolytic, facilitating the elimination of bronchial secretions and improving breathing. Additionally, it can be used in the management of symptoms associated with acute and chronic respiratory infections, contributing to the reduction of mucus viscosity and promoting its elimination. It is important that the use of Cloxan complements a comprehensive treatment that includes appropriate medical care.
Composition
Each Cloxan tablet contains 30 mg of ambroxol as the active ingredient, as well as necessary excipients for the medication's formulation.
Contraindications
The use of Cloxan is not recommended in patients with known hypersensitivity to ambroxol or any of the excipients in the formulation. Furthermore, its use should be carefully evaluated in patients with a history of gastric or duodenal ulcers, as well as in those with severe kidney problems.
Precautions
It is suggested to use Cloxan with caution in patients with liver diseases, as well as in those with coagulation disorders. The possibility of adverse reactions should be considered, and the risk-benefit ratio should be evaluated before initiating treatment. Medical follow-up is recommended during the use of the medication, especially in patients with pre-existing conditions that may be complicated.
