Indications

Clotrimazole 1% is indicated for the treatment of superficial skin infections caused by fungi, including tinea pedis (athlete's foot), tinea cruris (jock itch), tinea corporis (ringworm), and cutaneous candidiasis. It is also used in the treatment of yeast infections, as well as in the management of intertrigo. This medication is effective in reducing symptoms such as itching, redness, and inflammation associated with these dermatological conditions.

Composition

Each 100 g of cream contains: Clotrimazole 1 g. Excipients: benzyl alcohol, stearic acid, propylene glycol, among others.

Contraindications

It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to clotrimazole or any of the excipients in the formula. It should not be applied to open wounds or mucous membranes. Its use on extensive areas of the skin, especially in children, is recommended to be avoided.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of allergic reactions to other antifungals. If irritation or redness persists or worsens after starting treatment, a doctor should be consulted. This medication should not be used as the sole treatment for severe or systemic infections.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at room temperature, protected from light and out of the reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.

  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
